Summary Description

At Premium Supply, Transit and Dumpster, one of the most critical aspects of our business is the safe, timely and accurate delivery of material and equipment to our clients. Our Delivery Driver will have a positive and friendly demeanor with our clients as he or she will be the face of our company to the clients we depend on to help grow our business. Drivers will be responsible for the areas of preparation, delivery, reporting and improved profitability as outlined below.


Duties and Responsibilities

As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for activities surrounding the delivery process including, but not limited to:

  • Delivery Preparation to include communication and confirmation of daily delivery schedule, mapping of routes, assisting with loading of trucks, measuring loads, tarping/securing materials and exiting the yard in a timely manner between deliveries.

  • Delivery Process will include following the most efficient route to the client site, following dumping instructions precisely, contacting the client with dumping questions, helping the customer find solutions when delivery poses a challenge, delivering the correct materials, ensuring the client’s expectations are met or exceeded as it pertains to delivery time, returning to collect all rental equipment as necessary and accepting the correct payment for the job as well as depositing all payments into the lockbox by the close of business each day.

  • Reporting Responsibilities being met allows us to function at optimal levels. Some of the reporting requires include, but are not limited to the completion of maintenance reports, rental reports, payroll reports, expense reports

  • Improved Profitability is an area that is incredibly important in a small business. We must constantly be looking for ways to make our equipment last longer, our dollar go further and deepen relationships with our clients to organically grow our business. To that end, we must adhere to a non-smoking policy in our equipment, pursue fuel and DEF options that are cost effective, give reminders on preventative maintenance on our equipment, look for cost savings on required purchases and make recommendations to leadership on potential business opportunities.

  • Other job duties as assigned.



  • Prior commercial driving experience strongly preferred

  • Ability to lift 40 pounds regularly and 80 pounds occasionally in a safe manner.

  • Ability to operate trucking equipment including, but not limited to; dumpster trucks, truck and trailers, triaxles, air brakes, & other basic equipment.

  • Ability to operate heavy machinery including, but not limited to a; front-end loader, skid steer, backhoe, bulldozer, forklift, etc.

  • Ability to adhere to safety standards & commitment to regular use of personal protective equipment.

  • Ability to attain reliable transportation to and from work and a strong attendance record.

  • Willingness to work in adverse weather, at irregular hours and in fast-changing conditions.

  • Possess a valid Driver’s License.

  • Commitment to work well in a team and follow direction from leadership.

Working Conditions

The physical environment requires the Delivery Driver to work both inside and outside in heat/cold, wet/humid, dry/arid and dusty conditions. May be frequently exposed to heights and uneven surfaces. Drivers are required to use personal protective equipment as environmental conditions dictate.
